Yoga is a systematic method of healing that integrates the mind, breath and body through poses that helps with the removal of obstacles that impede the natural functioning of our systems.Yoga teaches us that everything we need for optimal health and happiness is present within us. Yoga practice connects us to something deeper inside of us – the true self.
Kemetic Yoga™ is the ancient Egyptain system of Yoga enlightenment based upon the practices of physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation.
*Hatha Yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (asanas) designed to align the muscles and bones and open the many energy channels of the body, especially the spine, so that energy can flow freely. A powerful tool for self-transformation, Hatha yoga requires that one pay special attention to the breath, which helps calm the fluctuations of the mind. This allows the practitioner to become more present in the unfolding of each moment, resulting in more awareness and relaxation.
Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures.
Restorative Yoga is about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. There is minimal movement, doing just a few postures. Muscles relax deeply as you hold poses for 2-5 minutes. Props are used to support your body instead of your muscles. Restorative classes are very mellow, and an excellent antidote to stress.
Breath-Body-Mind Flow offers deep relaxation infused with mindful movement that connects the mind-body through breath work, and stillness. This practice invites calmness and balance to support regulating the central nervous system while increasing blood flow and fluid circulation in the body.
Gong Meditation is a sound and vibration therapy to help facilitate a deep sense of peace; releasing tension and unblocking stagnant energy, helping to balance the energy centers working on a cellular level to rebalance the physical, emotional and subtle bodies.
Meditation is learning to focus your attention on the movement of the breath as a method of developing understanding of our own physical and energetic connection of body and mind.
Breath Work: To discover, explore, and cultivate the healing power of the breath. We use the breath to help us optimize physical and mental well-being.
Classes are crafted to meet our students “where they are” on their self healing journey. Mind-Body awareness, nourishing the mind, body and spirit, and connecting to ones’s true state of being is the goal of each class.
Chair Yoga Is a deliciously warm and cozy, low impact practice that trains the body to become more resilient. This gentle practice will improve your strength, flexibility, reduce stress and improve mental clarity. This is a senior friendly practice. Thursdays at 10:30 AM
Body Loving Flow A gentle practice of deep relaxation, stillness and melodic movement. A moving meditation that invites you to let go and connect to the breath while circulating energy through the body to gain optimal health. Wednesdays at 10:30 AM & 7:30 PM
Emerging Vinyasa Flow Improve the body’s physical and mental well-being by opening up the channels for your breath and energy to flow freely through the body by exploring a set of physically engaging movements designed to align your skin, muscles and bones. Tuesdays at 7:30 PM
Inner Happy Hour Restorative Experience a yoga relaxation practice that helps you discover the graceful balance of the body & breathe. Through precise placement of props, such as blankets and cushions, you create space to rest your mind, balance hormones, and soothe the nervous system. Thursday at 7:30 PM
Kemetic Yoga – Yoga for Self-Love Combines basic Kemetic Yoga postures with the ” be still and contemplate” principals od Yin Yoga. Themes of self-love and self-care will actively be explored through this practice. WOC Only. Wednesday at 7:30 PM
Soulfully This Hatha flow includes gentle movement, stretching, and breath-work/mindfulness to deeply relax the body, still the mind, and improve capacity for healing and balancing. This practice is for all sizes, abilities, and levels and includes the use of R and B music. Wednesdays at 6:15 PM
Gong Meditation Experience the healing vibration of sound massage for the body and mind. Come relax the nervous system and restore harmony in the body. Last Sunday of each month at 3 PM

Soulful Line Dancing
Learn group dances that will teach us to move our bodies to the beat, while we increase our energy, strengthen our legs and hips and release stress. Second Friday of the month at 7:00 PM

Learn to practice integration of the mind and body, through focus on moving your body in sync with the ‘Life Force Energy.” With mindful concentration on harmonizing your breath with movement. Tuesdays at 10:30 AM
