Purposeful Pause – Breathing Meditation to reduce stress and find inner peace
Optimize physical and mental health with breathing, meditation, and movement. This practice will invite participants to begin cultivating stress resilience using breathing to enhance physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Participants will learn Coherent Breathing techniques rom the Breath-Body-Mind practice. The goal is to shift the stress-response system into a healthier balance by activating the healing, recharging part of the nervous system and calming the energy-burning part of the nervous system. This practice includes relaxation practices that will slow down the heart by changing the rate and patterning of breathing to alter the Heart Rate Variability. Participants will take-away at least two simple, yet effective breathing techniques they can use daily to reduce stress, tension, anxiety, and worry.
